Learning at Yoga Light

Each and every person in the class is guided in correct alignment so as not to develop any bad habits or injure themselves.

Clear and easy to follow instructions are given by the teacher throughout class to benefit the most from each posture, incorporating pelvic floor work and breathing.

Students are taught how to assist each other in partnered work.  Between 1-3 postures are chosen where each person experiences the support in a posture such as the downward facing dog pose, receiving the lift from the waist to hips to feel lighter and then the shoulder opening to lengthen and release any neck tension.

There is no set menu or routine designed beforehand.  Dianne is able to assess the group - where they are at energetically, what they need to focus on for that session and postures that will benefit them the most.

This allows a beautiful flow of energy where each person feels a connection with the yoga as they release tightness and stress from the body and open to receiving their freedom of peace, stillness and divine power.

You only have to read some of the reviews to get a sense of the transformation and gratitude of each person in receiving the gifts of yoga into their body, spirit and lives.
